November – December

Fall is the time to marvel at the breathtaking colors of the Garden's leaves. In the Japanese Garden the Japanese maples are spectacular.  

Our fall color starts in November, peaks around Thanksgiving, and lasts through the first weeks of December.

 

What's in bloom around the Botanic Garden:

Silverberry, Pansies, Violas, Dianthus, Snapdragons, Encore azaleas, Camellia sasanqua, Paperwhite narcissus, Possumhaw holly, Nellie R. Stevens holly, Southern wax myrtle, Carolina buckthorn, Nandina, Coralberry, American beautyberry.
