Fort Worth Botanical Society

Our Mission Statement: To provide a non-profit, educational, scientific association of members; To foster and promote continuing development and maintenance of the Fort Worth Botanic Garden ; To encourage civic plantings and beautification and create public interest in the conservation of natural resources.

The Fort Worth Botanical Society is a non-profit within the Botanic Garden. The Botanical Society operates, oversees, and funds gardens and programs within the Botanic Garden including the Japanese Garden, the Rock Springs Garden, the Native Texas Boardwalk, and the Back Yard Vegetable Garden, as well as the volunteer program and educational programs. 


Fort Worth Garden Club

Founded in 1926, Fort Worth Garden Club's mission is to cultivate a broader knowledge of gardening, horticulture, and design, to advocate for the protection of the environment, and to support the Fort Worth Botanic Garden.

The Fort Worth Garden Club, a non-profit corporation, has a membership of more than 500 who provide volunteer service and significant funds for maintenance and capital improvements to the Fort Worth Botanic Garden including the recent restoration of the historic municipal Rose Garden and Colonnade.
